The artist, John Cutrone, was born January 12, 1955 in Brooklyn New York, growing up on Long Island. Self taught, he dedicated himself to art at the age of 12. Getting his first big break in New York in the 1970's with the prestigious Keane Mason Gallery, located on 57th Street. At the age of 25, he had his first one man show at Gallery Internationale, New York. John began to produce in bronze and was fortunate to have also worked with Erte, the father of the Art Deco movement.
